How We Met
We met on Bumble and hit it off right away. We texted back and forth almost constantly for a few days before our first date, and after that, we once spent 4 hours on the phone (which says a LOT because both of us are not keen on phone calls!).
How They Asked
We were on vacation in Paris (day 1 of 2) and running late for our booked time at the Eiffel Tower. He wanted to stop and take a picture of the two of us in front of the tower (not a selfie) but since we were already running late I suggested we just come back the next day if we had time. He insisted that we get one while it was still light out that day, so we stopped a passing stranger and asked her to take our picture.
I hand over my phone and begin to pose. Next thing I know he’s down on one knee. I had NO idea he was going to propose on this trip – in fact, we had once talked about how he wouldn’t propose while on vacation because he wouldn’t want to bring the ring. Needless to say, I no longer cared how much we would have to wait in line if they wouldn’t accept our reservation!
