How We Met
I met Jet when he came to visit a friend at Southeastern University where I was in my senior year. He was attending Auburn University and thankfully decided to transfer to SEU! We had a class together and I was into him instantly, while he was oblivious. Thankfully he came to his senses and our mutual love of law/politics, all things designer, and the tv series Suits brought us together. Now, almost two years later we’re getting married! I found the Chuck Bass to my Blair Waldorf and I couldn’t be happier!!

I was traveling to Washington DC (where Jet is from) to spend New Years with him and his family. He picked me up at the airport and told me to wear something nice because our friend Ben wanted to take photos of us. So he picked me up and we went into the city for dinner. We then went for a walk around the city and then Jet said we would be taking photos at the Lincoln Memorial, which is my favorite place in DC. We arrived and walked around admiring the monument, and then sat down at the front steps. Jet turned to me and said that he wasn’t good at keeping things in, I knew what was coming and immediately started crying. We stood and he knelt down and asked me to marry him. I looked to my left and saw all of my friends who had secretly seen the whole thing! It was a magical moment in my favorite place.
