My fiancé worked for the city on his lunch break and he came into my job where I worked as a waitress one day and the rest was history!

The previous day had been my birthday, so going on a little get away to Rincon Beach was not anything abnormal. His behavior had been a little strange the past few weeks but there were other things going on in his life that could have altered that, but nonetheless, we headed out the next day of our trip to a surprise he had been planning. We stopped on the side of a road where a couple white horses were waiting for us. A horseback ride! I had never been on a trail ride so what a treat. We ended up riding along the beach and walked and walked until sunset.
The trail guide asked if she could fix my saddle because it looked a little bit off, I said sure and unmounted. My fiancé asked her if she could take a quick picture of us with the sunset. As we posed for the picture, I placed my hand over his heart as I normally do for a picture, I felt it racing a million miles and hour, and felt the nervous shivers going through his body, it was at that point I knew.
He asked me to marry him, and little did I know, a professional photographer was capturing pictures of us the entire trail ride. It was the best day of my life.
