How We Met
Drake and I met through his job at the local piggly wiggly. I used to stop there every morning before I went to school. Once I finally graduated he decided the best way to finally talk to me was through a funny meme he sent on Facebook. We immediately hit it off and went on our first date in July. The funny thing is, I didn’t think he was interested in me so we decided to be friends and a few months later I got into a not very serious relationship. He saw it on Facebook and decided to let me know how he felt and we’ve been inseparable since.
How They Asked
In March of 2019 we decided to take a little beach trip down to Gulf Shores to see my sister who was in college at South Alabama. That first day we spent it at the beach then eating at my favorite restaurant, LuLu’s. We went back to the hotel because I wasn’t feeling too good, I had too much sun, and I decided to take a shower and call it an early night. I get out of the shower and dress and walk out to see Drake on one knee with ring in hand. I thought he was joking and just kept asking “are you serious!?” I finally gave him a “duhhh!” It was one of the most memorable days of my life!
