HOW WE MEt
Drew and I met at work around June 2010. I always thought he was hilarious. He’s the funniest person I’ve ever met. Everyone we work with loves him! Toward the end of 2014, something changed. I would always hold his hand at work and we started texting. We got closer, but would never hangout outside of work. I remember telling a co-worker “I feel like if I ever married Drew, I’d be the happiest person alive.” About a year and a half ago he asked me to go see a movie with him, St. Vincent with Bill Murray, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

We had planned to go to Disneyland. We have annual passes and go as often as we can. He told me the day before that our friend, Scott, wanted us to get footage of a princess kissing a frog, because he was making a video for his four-year-old son. When I told him I didn’t think we could find that, he asked if we could just do it ourselves and Scott would edit it together to look like Drew turned into a prince.
This wasn’t weird or suspicious to me because Scott makes these incredible videos full of special effects for his son all the time. My sister recorded the proposal and I think the video illustrates how thoughtful and creative he is, way better than anything I could type up!
