How We Met
We have known one another since middle school. We met through my siblings and playing sports.
How They Asked
I was convinced I was preparing for a last minute holiday photoshoot for work that was Great Gatsby themed.. seemed legit lol. I arrive and no one is there except for our good friend who does photography but not our work photographer and my colleagues. They tell me that everyone is running late and that we should begin which is also odd because no one is ever late! My colleague asks if I want to listen to music and of course I say yes… in walks a violinist playing our song ( Godspeed by Frank Ocean). I’m super confused and then in walks my boyfriend.. dressed in Gatsby getup. He gets down in his knee and asks me to marry him. Of course, I say yes.
