How We Met
We grew up 1 mile away from each other. We attended the same high school and were always close friends. I always had a crush on him but he was 2 years older and was always just a friend! We started talking my senior year and he was at the local college and now we’re celebrating our 6th anniversary in April.
How They Asked
I had been away on a healthcare mission trip in the Dominican Republic delivering medications to underdeveloped communities. He picked me up at the airport and had flowers. I was ready to go home and shower! He got down on one knee and said “Will you marry me, that way when you leave I’ll always know you’re coming back to me.” I of course said yes!!
