How We Met
Jordan and I met at the age of 15, but our relationship really didn’t go anywhere. Throughout the years we stayed connected, but again we seemed to always be in different places in our lives. After the first year of high school, we lost touch. It wasn’t until three years later that we reconnected and realized that neither of us had to stop thinking of one another. We started dating when he moved back home from college in 2015. He taught me everything there is to know about sports and I taught him everything there is to know about Disney.

Two years later my family was planning another Disney trip and I was not able to go. Jordan saw how upset I was and decided to plan a Disney trip of our own. On October 14, 2017, we jumped on a plane and headed to Orlando Florida! On our second day of the trip, we decided to go to my favorite park, Magic Kingdom. We finally made it to Cinderella’s Castle and Jordan suggested we should take a selfie. Next thing I know he is on one knee with a ring in his hand. I immediately said yes and cried my eyes out.
When I finally got myself together, I realized that he had hired a photographer to capture this special moment. Then Jordan surprised me again and pulled out two matching T-shirts with the front of his saying “I asked at Cinderella’s castle” and mine saying “I said yes at Cinderella’s castle”! For the next hour, the photographer took us around the park and captured wonderful memories for us! I never in my dreams imagined such a magical proposal. He truly made me feel like a real-life princess! It’s didn’t stop there! On Christmas, he handed me a gift and when I opened it I found a Disney scrapbook filled with memories from our trip! He is a dream come true!
