How We Met
Blake and I met on Bumble in April of 2018. After about a week, he asked me to dinner. We lived in separate towns, so he asked me to pick a place where I lived. Gruene River Grill is an excellent restaurant in the Gruene Historic District of New Braunfels, Texas. Their southwestern style meatloaf is to die for! After our date, we were inseparable! He even moved in shortly after five months of dating! Now our wedding date is set for November 21st, 2020!
How They Asked
Last November Blake planned the most romantic trip I could have ever dreamed! One night he planned a snowmobile aurora hunting excursion. We drove for about an hour through the fells and when we got to the top of a hill, our guide lit a fire inside a large teepee.
Our guide had his professional camera, and while we were about to snap a picture under the Milky Way Galaxy and some green auroras, Blake got down on one knee and proposed!
Talk about feeling like the luckiest girl on the planet! Blake constantly does things big and small to make me feel like I’m the best thing that’s ever happened to him, and the feeling is so mutual!!
