How We Met
Joseph and I met at the famous “Blue Store” in New Orleans, LA. This store is famous for its boiled crawfish and soulfood. Joseph placed his order first, and I was next in line to order. After receiving our orders we noticed that the cashier had given us each others orders. We both laughed and as we switched bags it struck up a conversation that has never ended.
How They Asked
Being that I was proposed to during the quarantine I did not have my hair, nails, or anything else done. I initially met Joseph at work and we stopped by his parents home. After stopping there we went to his place and we sat down to talk. As we were talking he asked did I notice that I had a gift. After going on a treasure hunt I found the bag and in it was a box. I looked at him and noticed he had his phone in his hand. My heart was racing and he tells me to open the box! I opened the box only to see that it was empty lol! I started pouting and looked down for one second, when I looked back up Joseph was on one knee with the ring in his hand and the phone in the other hand. All three of my kids were on the phone to witness what was going on! He then popped the question and after many tears and breathing I said yes!
