The proposal was on the football field right after my team (Kutztown University) won 62-10. I had my teammates surround us while one of my teammates (Togba Porte) sang. Football has been a huge part of our lives and wanted this moment to be on the field in front of my team and family. She had no clue what I was doing, no one did until my Togba began singing “Marry Your Daughter” by Brian McKnight.
