How We Met
We have been together for 4 1/2 years; we met on Instagram. It started with alike, which soon turned to love and from that day, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I searched for the perfect pebble (ring) for my life partner. I found it, and now we start the beginning of the rest of our lives.
How They Asked
I have been waiting all year to propose but due to COVID-19 my first proposal trip was ruined because I had to cancel everything. I knew if I did not propose soon, she was going to find the ring. I wanted to give her the dream proposal she deserves. I told her “pack your bags we are going to Jamaica,” I wrote this long speech while she slept on the plane to Jamaica.
I had been working with the event planner from Sandals Resort for weeks to make sure everything was perfect. I tricked her by saying we were doing a photo shoot. I was so nervous, they blindfolded her, I knew it was game time, I forgot everything I had written on the plane to say to her. The good news is, She said “YES”!
