how we met
We met through a mutual friend out at a bar in Boystown. With a little liquid courage, we told each other we thought the other was handsome, we danced and then the rest is history.
how they asked
The proposal wasn’t a big surprise. We had been talking about it for a bit at that point. We went a saw a wonderful play at the Goodman Theatre and decided to get an early birthday drink at Marty’s in Andersonville. When we got there, Brandon went to the restroom and gave himself a little pep talk in the mirror. When he rejoined me at the bar, we chatted about getting married again but this time it led to a proposal. I said yes, obviously, and we celebrated with some delightful libations.
