How We Met
Mark and I met on Bumble. We sent just a few messages until he made a joke about a google smart dog or idog. He asked on a scale of 1-10 how much I’d want to buy it. Then he immediately said to not answer that. But I did, with my number. Then the rest was history.
How They Asked
Mark is definitely one to make me laugh, daily. He has great puns. So I knew he would make this proposal punny and one to always remember. I had gone outside to start laundry and when I walked back inside, I walked up to him. I saw around the corner in the bedroom a light shining. He had the ring propped up with a letter sign, ‘will you light up the rest of my life as my life as my wife?’ I immediately starting crying and hugging him. We walked into the room, where he grabbed the ring and got down on one knee. Holding the ring in the ‘spotlight’ and asked me to marry him! I, of course, said ‘YES!’ We are extremely excited and can’t wait to continue laughing and spending the rest of our lives together.
