My finance had a whole proposal set up… I love Christmas, and he was going to propose at Rockefeller center in front of the Christmas tree. However, I had a pretty bad asthma attack and was diagnosed with Pneumonia the day before; I was in the ER all day and finally convinced the doctor to let me go home.
The next day I went to work at the photo studio (because I can’t stay home when I have photo shoots scheduled.. I won’t let my clients down). My sister showed up with my nephews so I could take their Christmas pictures.
She hands me the little one and asked me to change his diaper. After I do that I come out of the back room and I’m met with my family and his family all inside the photo studio. He says “just look at the tv”.
I watch and there is a montage of all of our moments together and moments of me and my family and friends with John legend singing “all of me” on the background. After the video played he was down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. It was the simplest and sweetest moment ever. He didn’t want to take me to the city, after being so sick, and I don’t think this proposal could have been sweeter and more perfect.
