How We Met
We met in Toronto through some common friends
how they asked
My fiance, Bryan, called the photographer and told him that he had hired a private boat to propose to me. The scheme that they agreed on was that the photographer worked for the boat company as their professional photographer to do a free private couple’s session to use for advertising purposes on the boat company’s website. Bryan called me and told me that he and I would be going to his company’s mid-year dinner in Toronto’s central islands. And that his company rented a boat to take us there.
So the day has come and as we got on the boat the photographer welcomed us saying “Hi guys, my name is Gaby Hanna. I’m a professional photographer and work for Gone Sailing Adventures. I will be doing a free photo session for you guys if you give me the consent to use the images on our company’s website to advertise our boat rental packages”. We both agreed.
The photographer casually captured photos of us enjoying the cruise and the views of the city. Until Bryan asked me if I can take a photo of us doing the “Titanic pose”. So, naturally, I went to the front of the deck and spread my arms open and that’s when Bryan was in the position to get down on one knee and asked me to marry him. And I said YES!
We continued taking photos as the sun begun to set. We loved our photos as there was both an excitement and peacefulness to the moment.
