How We Met
Craig and I have known each other since middle school believe it our not. Yep, we have known each other for 14 years. Never knowing he ‘liked’ me as we went to the movies, out for ice cream, sushi, and track practice all throughout high school..I even remember kissing him on the cheek and saying nah there is no way he likes me! (I guess later he was kicking himself all night) We ended up going to different colleges and remember my best friend Kerry and my mom saying Craig is amazing and he has liked you for years, what are you doing?! The next four years of college went by and after graduation I moved to Boston and he moved to Manhattan. Randomly in October 2012 I received a text from him and the rest was history. We clicked and started dating like we should have all the years we were friends, and he truly is my love bug, soul mate, and best friend. I ended up moving back home to Manhattan and we lived in east village for two years until recently relocating to San Diego, CA together. Truly our happy place where he proposed.

All easter morning Craig was totally NORMAL. We love going to vineyards it is our thing we just love to do together and we drove up to Temecula, CA that morning. We went to a few vineyards having a great time and had lunch at Leonesse Cellars. I ended up loving the vineyard so much I signed up to become a wine member. We ended up getting two glasses of wine to sit in a really private, relaxing, and romantic area until Craig wanted to explore the grapes and walk around in the vines. Craig goes “Claire see if you can find some grapes for us” I turn around not thinking I would find anything, but hey you never know! What I did find when Craig called my name to turn around was him down on one knee. He asked if I would love him for the rest of my life like he has loved me for the last 14 years. I can not wait to spend the rest of my life with Craig Schaeffer.
