how we met
Larry and I met on a night out in New York City through mutual friends. Larry was such a gentleman – he was so sweet and shy which really drew me to him. He says he was too nervous to ask me out on the first night we met. But just one week later, he took me out on our first date and the rest was history!
how they asked
It was actually my 28th birthday which he didn’t have planned! The jeweler called him that morning and told him that the ring was ready so he just couldn’t wait! We went out to dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant in our neighborhood in Tribeca called Pepolino. When we got back to our apartment later that evening, Larry got down on one knee. He was so nervous that he actually opened the ring box upside down, ha! He wanted it to be just us two together in our home which was so special. It was perfect.
