How We Met
Joseph and I met when we were just 14 and 15 years old, respectively. We instantly gravitated toward each other. We dated for a bit but ultimately decided to stay friends as we were only teenagers and weren’t ready for forever just yet. During the years after, we always had a way of coming back into each other’s lives. Every time we saw each other, there was this spark. But it wasn’t our time just yet. Finally, after 7 years, fate was ready for us to see each other one more time. We happened to be at a party at the same place & time and from then on we were inseparable. Our life together had finally started!
How They Asked
Six years after that, this past June, we had the most romantic trip to Paris planned. It was always my dream to get proposed in Paris under the Eiffel Tower. But once again, fate had its own plans for us. After COVID-19 hit, We had to cancel our trip & Joseph had to do some major scrambling. But he managed to make it even more special. Just steps from where we had our first date in Dumbo, blocks from the home we share together, and in front of the Eiffel Tower with our families, he got down on one knee & asked to spend forever with me. And I said YES! I love you so much Joseph.❤️
