How They Asked
I, my roommate, and my friend were going to have girls’ time and take cute pictures and go to dinner. We decided to go to these beautiful rocks by the river. I had gotten baptized in this same spot 2 years earlier. As we walked down the steps towards the river, I saw Derek standing there and I was so confused since I thought he was working for the day.
I then realized it was really him and that this was finally the moment! I walked down to our parents and friends being a part of this moment with us and heard the beautiful words “Will you marry me?” It was the most perfect, special day ever.
