How we met: I met Chris a few years back through his younger brothers and then reconnected 4 years later at a bonfire. From their we went to Wind and Sea and Jeff Burger in La Jolla on our first date. We immediately hit it off. I never knew how much I had in common with him. After 9 months of dating we moved in together and 3 1/2 years later he popped the question.
how they asked: I was completely shocked! I had no idea he was going to propose so soon. He had told me he wanted to take me out to a fancy dinner at Tom Hams lighthouse overlooking the San Diego skyline. So I got all done up and he drove the opposite direction and took me to Sunset Cliffs, a beautiful place we used to spend time together. I was confused as we walked down to a secluded area of the cliffs and he surprised me with a romantic picnic on the beach! I was so excited to watch the sunset and enjoy the moment, until I turned to him and saw him on one knee with the most gorgeous ring in his hand. What made this moment even more amazing, was seeing one of my best friends pop out from behind a bush, camera in hand. She had photographed the whole thing! This was by far the most amazing day of my life.
