How We Met
We both swiped right and matched on Tinder. As they say, the rest is history. We just clicked from the moment we met in person. The journey we have been on in the last 3 years has just been so exciting and amazing. We are the male/female version of each other and we literally couldn’t be without each other!
How They Asked
Honestly just the thought of going back to this moment makes me so happy and emotional at the same time! It all started off with him telling me we were going on a mystery getaway! On the day, he told me we were heading to Bristol (I was thinking how random). We arrived at the beautiful Berwick Lodge and checked in. We checked what time our dinner reservations were booked for and headed to our room. I had decided there was enough time for me to have a nap but he wasn’t having any of it!
So this is when he told me he had something romantic planned for a couple of hours time. We got ready took a selfie in our room and headed out to the grounds at the back of the lodge. We were sitting at a table and I could see He was getting very nervous and pale and I thought oh is this it, is he going to propose to me! I kept pushing it out of my mind as I didn’t want to get my hopes up. He then said the surprise was ready so we headed down into the grounds a little more. As we were walking I could see this gorgeous pink ladies’ stone seating area with 100’s of candles. As we approached it dawned on me what was going to happen. Out the corner of my eye I could see some random people sitting just near us, I then was thinking oh my these random people are gonna watch this happen! We sat down and he passed me an IPad this had a video that he had made for me talking about our relationship journey and memories. The video ended with him saying we have one more memory to make right now. He then got down on one knee and proposed!
I then realized the random people sitting just near us were in fact the photographer and her family! This was the point where we had a lot of tears and smiles. After the most amazing proposal, he had also organized an hour’s photoshoot of us newly engaged! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better proposal the thought that was put into it blew my mind. I’m literally the luckiest girl alive!!!
