How We Met
Almost two years ago I was at a low point in my life with multiple things going on and I was done trying to find love. I told myself “I’m giving up on love cause love is giving up on me.” Out of the blue my fiancé, Justin, came into my life. From the first time we talked we hit it off and I knew he was the one I wanted to spend my life with. He has a 5 year old little boy from a previous marriage and I treat him as my own and we have an incredible bond. I am so blessed and grateful to have met Justin and to be his wife soon.
how they asked
December 2017 we took a family vacation to Walt Disney World, the entire time we were there Justin kept telling me that this is the place where dreams came true, little did I know one of my dreams would come true!! Justin had reservations at Cinderella’s castle to eat there before Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Camden, Justin’s child, knew the entire time that Justin was going to ask and Camden actually kept it a secret! We had finished eating and the princesses came out and handed Camden a wishing Star, he told me to make a wish. A few minutes later the waitress brought out a silver platter and placed it in front of me (I thought I was getting my dessert) it was a plate with Cinderella’s glass slipper in a bed of red roses. I was thinking to myself what I’m the world is this? This is not my cheesecake I ordered. I looked up and Justin was on his knee and I just started crying! He asked if I would marry him and slid the ring on my finger. Everyone started clapping and Disney music started playing. I was so overjoyed I didn’t even say yes until after we had sat back down. The rest of the night was perfect! We rode the rides, watched the Disney Christmas parade, and the night ended in an amazing firework show. It’s was the perfect night with my perfect little family and I couldn’t have asked for a better proposal or ring!
