How We Met
Mike and I met as summer camp counsellors in Vero Beach, Fl. It only took a few weeks for camp before we fell for one another! Then I came to the realization that once this summer ended so would our little “summer fling”. We happen to live 5 hours away from each other and I new it was going to be the hardest journey I ever had to take but we both agreed to try. It’s been two and a half years of long distance now and I couldn’t imagine my life without him! I’m so happy we took and step of faith and embarked on this journey. We only spent 1 summer together and now I get to spend the rest of my life with him!

When Mike came to visit me for the first time after summer ended we went to a putt putt course in delray beach as our official “first date”! Not realizing 2 years later he would use this spot for the big perposal. So on Aug 21st 2015 Mike planed a surprise visit. I had the day planed with my best friend Taylor. We went to get our nails done, get some food and then go mini golfing! Little did I know Mike would be there! So Taylor and I show up at the golf course and were hitting the balls in the holes and I look down at hole nine and there is a plastic ring in it! I still have no clue….. Then I pick up the ring and look up and Mike is standing by the waterfall and I start to freak! He pulls me over to him and says… “You know I love you, and you know I wanna be with you for the rest of my life.. Cayla will you marry me!?”…. Tears start rolling down my face as I freak out and say YES!
