How We Met
My fiancé and I went to the same high school together. He is 2 years older than I am so we never spoke much but he was very good friends with my older sister. A couple of years after high school, him and I reconnected on social media. After a few dates, we fell madly in love with each other. We had so many common interests and he always kept me laughing. He is so kind, patient, selfless, and the hardest working man I have met. He is the most perfect man for me. Him and I have dated for almost 2 and a half years before our beautiful engagement.
how they asked
To celebrate me finishing my fall semester at school, my now fiancé decided to celebrate by planning a Disneyland trip in December. The first morning in the park he said he wanted to take a picture in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle so we got in line for the picture. As we are waiting in line I start to become suspicious but before I had more time to think it was our turn to snap a few pictures. The photographer took a few photos of us and then my fiancé said he wanted to use a prop he had brought for the picture. After a few moment of shuffling around in his bag, he pulled out a Neil Lane ring box, got down on one knee, and asked me if I would marry him. Overcome with emotions and instant tears I said yes to the love of my life. However, that wasn’t the only trick he had up his sleeve. Once he placed the beautiful diamond ring on my finger he asked me to turn around and standing there was my family and his family too. After celebrating and taking a few pictures together we all had breakfast together at Carnation Cafe and spent the entire day riding rides. Little did I know that my fiancé had been planning on proposing to me since June and he had my ring for 6 months. My fiancé and I love Disneyland and it was the perfect place for the most perfect day. I love him and can not wait for our happily ever after together
