He took me to Balboa island for a stroll. We stopped at a dock and started to walk onto it. Quickly I realized the dock was lined with photos of our entire relationship and I began to cry. We walked down the dock and I looked at each photo, and we cried and we laughed recalling all the memories we have made. At the end of he dock he had set up romantic scene with flowers, a blanket and music playing. He asked me to marry him and I gladly said yes! A woman from a home on the shore ran down to congratulate us and brought us champagne! We popped the champagne and went for a cruise around the harbor, telling one another about all our experience of our 5 minute old engagement! I thought it was all over when we tarted heading back to our car, when I heard a loud roar of people! It was all my closest friends and family, some who had flown into town in secret. We spent the night retelling the story and celebrating with those we loved. It was such a beautiful way to be asked to spend my life with him!
