How We Met
Blake and I knew of each other for many years through living in the same town, attending the same church, and mutual friends. We met about 8 years ago, through the time of not seeing each other for another 6 years, we reconnected about 8 months ago. We went on our first date and the rest is history. You definitely know when you know!!
How They Asked
Blake took me ice skating in Rockefeller Center on Friday, December 21, 2018. When the session ended for everyone to get off the rink, little did I know Blake had reserved the entire ice skating rink for the two of us. Blake hired a photographer and had the song “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran playing in the background. In front of hundreds of people, he then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes!!
