How We Met
Steven and I met about 3 years ago, and I can still remember the silly grin I had on my face when he dropped me home after our first date! It was the best “first date” that I had ever been on. We went to dinner and during it he had leaned over and whispered “I just have to” and kissed me. It was the most perfect kiss and from that day on we have been inseparable and moved in together. Our love story continued to blossom through the deep friendship, love and commitment we shared through the years. Here we are today, engaged after he proposed on vacation in Aruba 2 weeks ago! I am over the moon happy and blessed to share the rest of my life with my best friend.

While on vacation in Aruba, Steven and I had an amazing time! The very last night he planned a private dinner on the beach for us. As we were getting ready to go I could tell he was very anxious, he kept rushing me saying “we had to make it in time for the sunset”, little did I know this was all part of his plan. As we arrived there was a beautiful table set up on the beach over looking the ocean. The waiter took my cell phone to take pictures of us and I sat down. Steven asked me to stand up again because he said he wanted to take just one more picture, so I did. Then he looked at me and asked me if I wanted to come back to Aruba for our honeymoon.
I looked at him confused and watched him take out a box from his pocket. He then dropped to one knee and looked up at me with tears in eyes and asked me to marry him.
As the tears rolled down my cheeks now I said yes and my heart was filled with so much love and joy and this will remain the best moment of my entire life.
