How We Met
Dan and I met almost four years ago when he was playing rugby for a team my dad was coaching. We met in the beautiful Lake Placid New York, one of my favorite places in the world. We spent the whole weekend together and have been inseparable ever since.

Ever since we met in Lake Placid, we have spent every Christmas there together. I secretly (and not so secretly) dreamed we would one day get engaged there. Dan surprised me by arriving a day earlier than originally planned. On Christmas Eve we went to my favorite place, The Lake Placid Lodge for lunch.
I insisted of walking around the grounds for some pictures when he told me he had to give me my Christmas gift early. My head was spinning as he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He proposed with the most beautiful ring (exactly like one I had been eyeing on Pinterest!) I had ever seen. We are planning a December 2016 wedding.
