On February 4th, 2018, my now-fiancé told me we had plans with his family to celebrate his 30th birthday which was that upcoming Friday. We were driving up to Ancaster Mill – a gorgeous, scenic creekside eatery in a restored mill. As we were walking down the stairs to meet his “family”, my favorite song played from the speakers – Treasure by Bruno Mars! It was always a dream of mine to have that song playing while getting proposed to (cheesy, I know).
Once the song started playing, Antonio took my hands, said something meaningful (don’t remember any of it as I was freaking out!), got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said YES! The beauty of the snow falling made everything magical – just like a perfect Winter Wonderland. It was a dream come true.
