How We Met
Downtown Boston has and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Mike and I met at a party in October 2015 while both attending college at Suffolk University in Boston.
How They Asked
On December 20, 2019, Mike and I went out on a frigid night in Boston on what I thought was just a regular date night. I was instantly skeptical when we arrived at an elegant restaurant and knew it was not a special occasion.
The incredible dinner was followed by skating at the Frog Pond in the Boston Commons. After skating, we enjoyed a nice walk in the Commons viewing the holiday lights, only steps away from the college where we met. We stopped in front of the Blue Spruce Christmas Tree from Nova Scotia.
Mike told me to take a picture of the tree. While taking pictures on my phone, I could see out of the corner of my eye that Mike was pulling something out of his jacket. I began to start shaking with excitement, and thought to myself “THIS IS HAPPENING!!!” Mike got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
