Eric and I planned a trip to Breckenridge, CO to ski. We booked an air BnB Weds-Sunday. Before the trip he had everything planned little did I know (from all the reservations he had set up) which was quite unusual! As he mentioned he had all of these resos set, I thought props to him this sounds kinda unusual! Friday we were supposed to drive to Keystone, CO to a very nice/fancy brunch spot (Alpenglow Stube) on the mountain (which was 2 gondalas up), but last minute Eric moved it to Thursday, mentioning it was supposed to snow Friday so he ‘didn’t want to be out on the roads.’ Secretly, he had been communicating with our photographer, Joe who said the pictures he planned for our surprise proposal would not turn out if it was snowing.
So brunch on top of the mountain Thursday we went and he had an entire surprise proposal set up as soon as we walked into the snow. Once he got down on his knee… those tears came rolling! I didn’t see the hidden photographer until he pointed it out, then we had a private proposal shoot for 40 mins following and the actual brunch and champagne toast in an amazing brunch spot right in the mountain. BEST DAY EVER!!!
