We got engaged while bird watching (aka birding) at Cromwell Valley Park , one of our favorite outdoor activities at our favorite local park. While I knew a proposal was imminent, I was completely surprised when Joel stopped and handed me his camera to request help identifying a bird he just spotted, and I was greeted with a picture of the ring cradled within the branches of a tree. It’s not a typical way to pop the question, but it was absolutely perfect for us. We love nature and the outdoors, and because of this we have always found Cromwell Valley to be magical! It was a no-brainer to request the park as the setting of our engagement shoot.
