how they asked
The night of my proposal we were going on a walk before dinner with my family – or so I thought. It was a beautiful walk on a path in my small town that ended at the main plaza in the middle of town. We talked and laughed as we walked towards the plaza, little did I know he was timing it for his proposal. As we walked towards the gazebo in the plaza, we admired the Christmas lights still wrapped around trees and the Christmas tree still up by the fountain. He took me over to a bench where there was placed a ring box and a Bible; this Bible had my name with his last name on it, something I had always dreamed of getting when I was proposed to! He opened the Bible and read the Scripture that he had inscribed on my engagement ring and then got down on one knee and before I knew it my favorite man on this earth was asking to spend forever with me! It was so sweet and perfect and the most wonderful of days! I couldn’t have imagined my proposal being any better.
