How We Met
We met in college at Illinois State University. Our friends hosted a bar crawl every year that we would attend. On October 20, 2012, I met Kevin and we knew instantly that we had something special! 11 days later we were boyfriend and girlfriend!
How They Asked
Kevin has been testing for different police departments for 2.5 years! He recently got hired in September and graduated the police academy on December 21, 2018. Of course, I had a party for him at a restaurant/bar in our town. A couple hours into the party he pulled me to the front of the room and said he wanted to thank everyone for coming – I was happy because I wanted to thank them too and give a speech of how proud I am of Kevin for all of his accomplishments! He started thanking his family and friends, and then me. He said he wouldn’t know where he would be without me – everyone “aww’d“ and then he got down on one knee! You can see if the video how shocked and surprised I was! I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my dream man!
