We met while I was waiting tables at a hometown pizza place. He was hungry and I was serving pizza!

In November of 2018, I scheduled our annual Christmas photo shoot. Kenneth and I had been dating for a little over a year and this was the first photo shoot with all three of us together. We meet at Lake Martin, dressed in our Christmas best. Towards the end of the photo shoot, our photographers suggested that Kenneth and I take a few photos alone. I watched my son walk over by the car and when I turned around, Kenneth was on one knee! I was so surprised and speechless! He had contacted the photographer after I scheduled the shoot to let her know his plans. Everyone knew but me! He even played “Diamond In My Pocket” by Cody Johnson the whole way there, and I never caught on!
