Brittany and Chance

How We Met

My fiancé, Chance Chambers, and I have been together for a little over 5 years now. He lived about 40 minutes away from me in a small town and we actually met through mutual friends on Facebook. His number is 55 and my cover photo was our wake boat with the number 55 on it and it intriuged him.

He messaged me, and I was on vacation at the time, so it took a couple of days for me to get it. I saw his message when I got back and thought he was cute, so I messaged him back. We would talk on the phone a few times a week. For our first date he took me too Buffalo Wild Wings, which is now our favorite place to eat. We instantly hit it off and we were head over heels for each other. We love going to the mountains with our jeep to go trail riding. Family means a lot to us and we can’t wait to combine ours together as one.

how they asked

Chance had been planning his proposal a year in advance. Chance contacted Tommy Giodone to put his plan in motion, arrangements were even made to have all of our families there to witness the big moment. He had arranged to propose to me on stage at Bands in the Backyard before Kane Brown performed. To get me on stage I was told that Chance had won a radio contest and we would be introducing Kane Brown. I was super nervous to be on stage because I hate standing in front of people, and there were thousands of people. While on stage Chance explained that we met because of the number 55, which is a different story. It was the 5th year of Bands in the Backyard and we have been dating for 5 years, so it was the perfect time for him to pop the question. I was so clueless up until that point. I had started to get teary eyed. At that moment I forgot we were even on stage, and it felt like it was just the two of us. He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I instantly started balling, and eventually got YES to come out.
