How We Met
Rami and I met at a wedding. I am originally from the D.C. area and he is from California (where the wedding took place). From there, we kept in contact with one another and slowly started talking. We didn’t know where this would lead us because the distance was so far.. but you know when they say “distance means so little when someone means so much” it’s true.
How They Asked
We were on the way to what I thought was a brunch with some friends but little did I know the surprise that what was to come. We took a “detour” and walked around D.C. because he said we were early for brunch and needed to kill some time (that was his plan all along). We walked past some of our favorite spots, places I have shown him in D.C. throughout his visits here and we ended with this location right here. Then… The man of my dreams got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!! It was perfect and everything I ever dreamed it would be. We are so elated and our hearts are filled with bliss. It seems so fitting, to feel this joyful during a season of joy!
