Halloween 2006 I was in high school trick or treating with my girlfriends. We stopped at one house in the neighborhood and a group of people who were having a Halloween party answered. My future husband was standing off to the side and after my friends got to trick or treat he pulled me aside and asked if he could take me out. The next day we went for bagels and we have been together ever since.
how they asked: Feb 12 is my birthday. Thankfully our parents are good friends.
Our parents went to dinner with us to celebrate my birthday at a local restaurant. My future mother in law told me she brought me a birthday cake to sing.
After dinner my cake came out……
It was a display of 500 baked by Melissa cupcakes with “will you marry me” spelled out. I turn around and there is Brian on his knee. I was in shock!! It was so special to have both our
families there for that special moment!!
