How We Met
We had been friends for a long time but were never both single at the same time. The timing was finally right and we hung out on a Friday night just riding around talking. We went on our first date 2 days later, bowling in Pensacola, on September 6, 2017. On our first date on the way back from our date we both said, “When you know you know.” This phrase has stuck with both of us since that very first date. We knew from our very first moments together that we would one day get married.
How They Asked
Clint and I have been together for 2.5 years at the time of our engagement. Clint and my mom reached out to the photographer I was planning to hire for our wedding and they planned the whole proposal together. I had no idea when I was heading to the consultation with the photographer that this will be the day when I say YES. Both of my and Clint’s parents attended the consultation and at the end when I said “Let’s move forward”, Lazzat offered to do a quick shoot at the studio that she said she does for all couples that sign up at the time of consultation. During the shoot, Lazzat asked me to face to the right for one photo and then to look at Clint. And there he was on one knee. Everyone knew about it, except me. An amazing proposal captured in photos. It was January 12, 2020 when he asked me to be his forever and I said yes! It was easily the best decision I have ever made. It was the most perfect day surrounded by our family!
