How We Met
Brandon and I met in middle school. It wasn’t until senior year of high school that we realized we had a real connection beyond just friends. Prom, high school and college graduation, adopting our fur baby, and buying a house are some of our favorite things that we have accomplished together. After 8 years, it’s finally time to take the next step in our lives!

We were in Sarasota, Fl with Brandon’s Aunt and Uncle to watch his cousins, Delaney and Katie for the week. After a great beginning to the week at Universal Studios and spending time at the beach, I realized this was going to be one of the best weeks of our life. Brandon suggested that we had to watch a sunset one night that week. I didn’t think anything of it because what better place than to watch a sunset on the white sandy beaches on the Gulf in Florida. The only day we could watch the sunset was on Thursday because we had something planned every other night. We woke up that morning and it was pouring… and continued to pour all day. We set out for dinner, only for it to continue to pour down raining. We drove around Siesta Key after dinner because it was still raining until we decided that we had to at least just go walk out on the beach. And what do you know! It stopped raining right before the sun was about to set. We walked out to the beach and sat on a blanket to watch the sun through the clouds. Brandon wanted to look for sea shells because we had done that all week with his cousins. We walked opposite ways and I hear him say ,”I think I found the shiniest one!” I turn around to him on one knee and all I can do is start to cry and run over to him! July 16, 2015 was one of the best days of our life.
