How We Met
Dan and Bobbi first “met” on an online dating app in the Fall of 2015. They chatted occasionally for a few months. Bobbi lit up when she would see Dan’s name on the screen. The conversations really stood out to her. He made her laugh and always said the most clever things. But with all the talking and no mention of actually meeting, Bobbi decided to delete the app with no warning for Dan.
Fast forward 6 months to April 2016, Bobbi decided to give yet another dating app a try. Within the first few times of logging in, she saw a familiar face on the screen. He had all the same photos, so it had to be the same, Dan! She sent Dan a message, “Remember me?” He said, “Of course”, and that he was sad when he had seen her profile disappear 6 months before. Without much hesitation, they finally met at Creve Coeur Park for a walk. The date went so well they extended it to ice cream, and then ended it with dinner.
How They Asked
4 and a half years later, on December 23rd of 2020, Dan and Bobbi went on a walk at the park where they’d frequently gone. This time Dan had a surprise. While they were walking Bobbi heard Dan say her name from behind. When she turned around, Dan was on one knee and holding a ring! She said yes! Little did she know, he also had a photographer waiting at the park to capture the moment so they could share it with friends and family.
