How we met
We met back in 2007 when I was in my junior year of high school through a friend’s wedding. We exchanged messages back and forth and stayed friends with each other for two years before we went on our first date. I remember the night he asked me out. It was in February 2008, I was 20 years old. He had offered to take me to dinner just the two of us. He had taken me to a sushi restaurant and we ate dinner and at the time he gave me a heart necklace. When we arrived at my house he asked, “so is this a date or not” I replied “yes”. how they asked
After 9 years, finally I went and bought the ring and put it in his desk drawer. I said, “When you’re ready to propose I have the dress and the ring.” I contacted Darillyn with dbphotography to do our engagements, and they turned out absolutely flawless.
At this point I didn’t think he was going to propose, so I went through with engagement photos and the first look. I had no idea he was going to propose to me at our first look! Darilyn had just finished taking our photos as a couple and I was standing on the rock having just my pictures taken.
He started walking up to me and I was a little confused because it was “me” time. He then got on one knee and pulled the ring box with trembling hands and asked, “Will you marry me?” I couldn’t say yes or no because I was trying not to cry (I did not want to mess up my makeup) and wondering if it was all real.
I finally nodded and the tears started flowing as he got off his knee and replied “You are the most amazing beautiful women I have met and I love you. I am excited to spend many more years with you.”
