How We Met
Logan and I met on the first day of our junior year of college in San Diego and fell for each other instantly. Within one month we were dating and spent the next year and eight months going on adventures in his hometown of San Clemente (which included Logan always pushing me outside of my comfort zone through surfing, white water rafting, and jet skiing), growing up together by entering our new careers (Marketing for me & Entrepreneurship for him) and spending as much time as possible at the beach.
How They Asked
When it came time to pop the question, Logan knew he had incorporate Maple, my gorgeous, perfect, adorable golden retriever (can you tell I’m obsessed? 😍) After spending the day with all of our friends at the beach, Logan took me to our favorite restaurant where we celebrated our 1 year anniversary. After dinner, he suggested we watch the sunset at the bluffs overlooking the ocean in San Clemente. Once we arrived, I noticed one of our friends standing with a golden retriever. As I got closer, I saw that it was Maple and freaked out. We walked over and Logan told me to look at her collar. Attached was an adorable little tag that had written on it, “Will you marry me?”. I turned around to see Logan down on one knee and instantly started bawling. After he popped the question, he led me down to a picnic on the beach complete with pictures of us, candles, champagne, and letters he had written me every day of the week leading up to the proposal. After our picnic, we headed back to his house for a “family dinner”, where to my surprise all of our college friends (as well as our entire families) were gathered to surprise us with the sweetest engagement party. It was the most perfect day! ❤️
