How They Asked
My now husband Suggested we go out for a fancy date night. He was so nervous and barely talked about the entire meal. After dinner, he suggested a walk on the beach at our usual spot on 12th street in Ship Bottom, NJ. We met at the age of 16 while working at a pizzeria on the beach and spent a lot of time on that beach. When we got there he told me that he actually asked a friend to recreate the first picture we ever took 5 years before. As we were taking the picture, he started telling me how much our relationship means to him. Before I knew it, he was down on one knee! He asked me to be his wife on the same beach as our first kiss. It is a memory I will cherish forever.
