We met on the dating app, Bumble! Corey took me to Sidesplitters for a comedy show on our first date, and things moved pretty quickly from there.

After our first trip to New Orleans I knew that it was the place I had to ask her. I started planning in October and was able to disguise our trip as a Christmas gift to visit family and relax before the start of the new year of work and school. Set for the first weekend of 2018, we flew in on Thursday and spent a relaxing afternoon preparing for the weekend ahead. The next morning I planned ahead to go to our favorite breakfast spot in the French Quarter, Stanley. With help from Uncle Jeff and Aunt Nikki, I was able to get a window table for two reserved and had the restaurant in on the whole plan. Asking the big question right as we got our mimosas, the whole building filled with cheers as Ashlie covered her face in excitement!
