It’s official! Bachelor in Paradise couple Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are now married, bookending a rather long-winded friendship and love story.

The couple married in Rhode Island on August 11. “We freakishly agreed on everything. Growing up we had the exact same vision of our wedding, [making] it as grandiose as it has become,” Iaconetti previously told People. Haibon added, “We’re so accustomed to being together, and living together, that marriage is the obvious next step.”

Longtime Bachelor host Chris Harrison did not officiate the wedding as he was unable to attend the festivities. Instead, the couple tapped Bachelor Nation member and producer of the franchise Elan Gale to fill the role. The couple’s dog served as the ring bearer, while fellow reality personalities like Dean Unglert and Nick Viall served as groomsmen.

Wedding planner Troy Williams of Simply Troy Lifestyle and Events orchestrated the entire event. The party planner previously teased the nuptials by sharing a portion of the day-of timeline withUs Weekly.

“I think [Jared and Ashley] will surprise a lot of people,” Williams noted. “This is my first church wedding out of all of my brides that I’ve done because everyone wants to do something different so I’m really excited about that actually, because there’s a juxtaposition to the church and their reception venue … and we definitely have a running [theme] of their love of movies and movie themes throughout everything.”

The couple got engaged in summer 2018 in an emotional proposal that was documented on Bachelor in Paradise. Their wedding, though presumably sentimental at times, was also hilariously personalized. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails, including one entitled, “Ashley’s Tears.”
