How We Met
So Shane and I both had an interview at American Eagle back in our college town. I got there early because I was so nervous for the interview. In walks this guy with a pink button up shirt, khaki pants and some nice tan dress shoes. I was impressed as I was wearing a polka dot top with jeans and flats. So after our interview I introduced myself again and made sure I remembered his name. I rushed backed to my apartment and told my roommate look I met this cute guy during my interview should I look him up on Facebook. And that’s exactly what I did. I found him on Facebook, direct messaged him and within a few minutes later we exchanged numbers. Little did I know that this guy that from American Eagle would end up proposing to me 2 years later.
how they asked
So it was Father’s Day weekend and Shane’s family and my family were all going down to Louisville for the weekend for Downs After Dark. We get to the horse track and his mom is like okay I want photos of everyone and I was like great we will go first. So we stand there for what seemed like forever and once everyone was done taking photos of us I was trying to get out of the way for the next couple. He then says you know what would make this weekend better, turns gets down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I could not contain my emotions I was crying and laughing at the same time.
