how they asked: June 6, 2014- Brenton and I were in Mexico on our first real vacation – a couple’s trip with friends. On this day we would be exploring Mayan temples. This one particular temple allows visitors to climb to the top – the last of its kind due to damage. The temple was used for weddings and celebrations, as well as, other functions in Mayan culture. After climbing 138 feet in the air with a rope assisting us, we got to the top of the temple. I took a deep breath to take in the beauty of the jungle surrounding us. I turned around and there was Brenton on his knee asking me to spend the rest of my life with him. So thankful that our friends Damona and Kenn captured this beautiful moment on video for us, even I sound so crazy and ugly-cried on camera :) I love that other people on top of the temple clapped and cheered for us! We will be wed on June 6, 2015 in New Orleans, LA.
