How We Met
After each of us getting out of bad relationships we both decided to try online dating; through one of the many apps that are out there. It wasn’t more than a few days that we both got in touch with one another. Little did we know that our lives would never be the same. We ended up talking for hours at a time; neither of us wanting to hang up or stop texting one another. In fact, we used to fight about who would be the first one to hang up. We started dating pretty quickly and soon both deleted the app. As time went on we both realized that we had each found “the one”. The rest is history and we can’t wait for the rest of forever.
How They Asked
Corey knows that I don’t like surprises, so to say he caught me off guard with the proposal was a big deal. We had gone away to Massachuttes to my summer house for a quick weekend trip to spend some much needed alone time during this season of COVID. He knew that where we were going was a very important and special place for me. It was and still is the place that I spent so much time with my father before he passed away. You see I always wanted to get engaged there. It was the perfect place filled with love and amazing memories. I felt so connected to him there as it was his favorite place; which in turn became my favorite as well. Corey took me out for lunch and then took me to my family’s private beach where he then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the easiest yes I have ever said and I cannot wait to see what we will accomplish in this life together.
